What does it feel like to arrive somewhere new—where the culture isn’t yours—and then… merge in? What is this thing people keep calling ‘integration’? What does it look like in real life? A zip-up? A dissolve? What’s really meant by this government terminology?
MOHA and Crossing Horizons are inviting you into an experience. This September, at Oostelijk Meterhuisje (Pazzanistraat 6) in Westerpark, Amsterdam, you can meet, talk, eat—and escape.
Yes it all starts with MOHA’s escape room, where one steps into the shoes of a newcomer in the Netherlands, and then breaks free. Outside waits the Crossing Horizons exhibition—Where Horizons Meet. Next to that, in early September, you’re welcome to join in on neighborhood dialogues, a symposium, and a literary evening. On September 12, a performative dinner invites you to sit, linger, spark ideas, and plan for a more inclusive tomorrow. All you need to do is sign up.
