In a public library, I came across a book about libraries. It said:
The primary function of a library (…) is to discover books whose existence we never suspected and which turn out to be vitally important to us.
The same can be said for remarkable people appearing in our lives. One might go to the Library for Strategies of Surviving the Storm to hear a story and walk out with a new plan for the future. It can happen just like that. In fact, it may well have happened these past months in Amsterdam Zuidoost, at Bijlmerplein. This is where The Library found its place. This month — on July 3, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM — MOHA will close it’s first Libraric phase. The Library has taken shape, strategies have been collected and this calls for a celebration. Curious? You’re warmly invited to join!
