When a caterpillar retreats into a self-spun cocoon to undergo a physically extreme transformation in order to later appear as a butterfly — leave it to its work. Transformation doesn’t need our interruptions.
Robert Ssempijja is part of what we referred to on this site in October ’25 as a Swedish movement. From March 16 to 30, he once again withdraws to Gothenburg, Sweden. There, in complete privacy, he dances with twelve other artists and collectives in the studios of iCoDaCo (International Contemporary Dance Collective).
